July Park and Recreation Month Events:
📅 July 10 – Robert L. Taylor Community Complex
Join us on Friday, July 10th at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex for a Park and Recreation Month Field Day on the turf field from 9:30am to 11:30am. Enjoy a fun-filled afternoon featuring sports activities, classic backyard games, refreshing Italian ice, and a dunk tank where you can try to soak some of your favorite Parks & Rec staff. Bring your friends, bring your energy, and get ready for a great time with the community!
📅 July 17 – Payne Park - Park and Recreation Professionals Day
Come celebrate Park and Recreation Professionals Day on Friday, July 17th, from 9:30am-11:30am at the amphitheater near the skate park! Enjoy an afternoon of fun with inflatables, backyard games, and delicious food trucks. We’ll have classics like Jenga, Connect Four, Tetris, and more — the perfect way to enjoy the day and recognize our amazing parks and the people who make them great. Join us!

📅 July 24 – Arlington Park
Join us for Chalk the Trail at Arlington Park on July 24th from 9:30am-12pm! Bring your creativity and spend the morning decorating the trail with colorful chalk art, playing outdoor games, and enjoying tons of fun with family, friends, and neighbors. This is the perfect chance to celebrate community and creativity in the sunshine. Chalk Games and Activities, Chalk hopscotch, Create-your-own obstacle course with drawn arrows, lines, and balance challenges, Chalk scavenger hunt (participants find specific drawn symbols or colors).

Summer Camp - Arlington Park & Aquatic Complex
Join the FUN at Summer Camp!

Sarasota, Florida 34239 - Introduction: New theme each week!
Monday-Friday 7:30am-5:30pm
Experience a summer packed full of adventure, crafts, games, field trips, swimming, nature and educational activities and so much more. Each session a new theme will be discovered. Campers will need to bring a water bottle, swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen each day to camp. Breakfast, lunch & snacks will be provided.
Monday - Friday
7:30 am - 5:30 pm
*IMPORTANT INFORMATION* A non-refundable deposit of $25 per session is due at time of registration. The remaining balance us due the Wednesday prior to the session starting. Balance due is $175 for 1st child and $125 for additional siblings. Price is per 1-week session.
Please ensure that you enter allergies (food, seasonal, etc), approved pick-up names, and any additional information you would like us to know under roster notes for each participant. You must come inside the building to drop-off and pick-up your campers daily. All deposits are non-refundable.
