PPTC MapPayne Park Tennis Center (PPTC) is a staffed municipal facility open to the general public. All players wanting to participate in the recreation of tennis are welcome. We offer an amazing opportunity to enjoy tennis on 12 Har-Tru courts, in fabulous downtown Sarasota, at an economical price.

  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30 am - 8:30 pm
  • Friday: 7:30 am - 6:30 pm
  • Saturday: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm
  • Sunday: 7:30 am - 2:30 pm

About the Payne Park Tennis Center:

  • Singles & Double Play Welcome
  • Advanced reservations required (online or phone); drop-ins allowed when courts are not reserved.
  • Courts are available in 90 minute increments.
  • Ball Machines are available for rent for $15 plus applicable court fees.
  • Showers and lockers available.
  • Hitting Wall is available for free.
  • Court Thirteen Pro-shop and bar has racquet stringing, demo racquets, apparel as well as beverages, full bar and pre-packaged foods.

Player Pass Rates

  • Courts are available for one-time 90-minute use per day.
  • 90 Minute Player Pass: $10 Adult, $5 Youth (17 and under)
  • 3 Month Player Pass: $185 Adult
  • Annual Player Pass: $500 adult, $150 Youth
  • Annual Family Player Pass: $800 (for spouse and two dependents 17 and under)
  • Annual After 3pm (Mon-Fri) Player Pass: $300

*Prices do not include processing Fees

Free, fun activities at Payne Park (at the Amphitheatre)) - Celebrate Park and Recreation Month with the RECing Crew!

Come celebrate Park and Recreation Professionals Day on Friday, July 17th, from 12 PM to 2 PM at the amphitheater near the skate park! Enjoy an afternoon of fun with inflatables, backyard games, and delicious food trucks. We’ll have classics like Jenga, Connect Four, Tetris, and more — the perfect way to enjoy the day and recognize our amazing parks and the people who make them great. Join us for this free community event.
