DESCRIPTION:<p>The Robert L. Taylor Community Complex (RLTCC) is partnering with the Sarasota Police Department to offer a special K.O.P.S. (<b>K</b>ids and&nbsp;<b>O</b>fficers&nbsp;<b>P</b>romoting&nbsp;<b>S</b>olidarity) Spring Break Event on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, from 8pm –&nbsp;&nbsp;Midnight.&nbsp; Registration is now open.</p><p>The after-hours youth program will be hosted at the RLTCC and is open to 50 participants ages 12 to 16. Parents can enjoy a night out while kids can take part in activities including basketball, volleyball, wiffleball, video games, pool tables, and more.&nbsp; Food and refreshments will be provided along with a fun, safe environment.</p><p>“The goal of this program is to build positive relationships between kids and Officers in our area,” said Arthur Larkins,&nbsp;Manager&nbsp;of the RLTCC. “Creating these relationships goes a long way toward building community.”&nbsp;</p><p>Registration is required and available online at&nbsp;<a href="https://kops-spring-break.eventbrite.com" title="https://kops-spring-break.eventbrite.com/">https://kops-spring-break.eventbrite.com</a>. Registration can also be completed in person by visiting the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex at 1845 34<sup>th</sup>&nbsp;Street, Sarasota.&nbsp; The first 50 participants who register&nbsp;and attend&nbsp;will receive a t-shirt&nbsp;along with&nbsp;the opportunity to utilize the Robert L.
