This park is one of our local parks. Pioneer Park in Sarasota is a beautiful place for a peaceful walk, surrounded by greenery and open space. Families can enjoy the tree‑top–inspired playground, while sports lovers take advantage of the basketball and tennis courts. It’s a welcoming spot for relaxation, play, and enjoying the outdoors.

Save Sarasota Bay & the Manatees Butterfly Garden

Hog Creek Watershed Restoration Project - Dedicated May 21, 2019. Designed & planted by Mrs. Lorienne Nickelson's 5th grade class of 2018-2019 at Bay Haven School of Basic Plus. In September of 2020 200+ plants were added by 65 Bay Haven School of Basics Plus students, their families and friends. The volunteers also extended the existing "Save Sarasota Bay and the Manatees" Butterfly Garden (dedicated in May 2019) by another 1,000 sq. ft.!
