This park is one of our local parks. The City of Sarasota dedicated this park to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the Newtown community on June 16, 1992.
The pavilion offers restrooms available daily from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., a kitchen, and electrical outlets. The park’s brick circle provides a beautiful view of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. dedication statue and also serves as a performing circle for community gatherings. This park is an excellent location to host your next event. Interested parties may contact the Outdoor Special Events Department for reservations.
