Social Programs

Great for new players to Payne Park Tennis Center.  We offer Social Co-ed Doubles which is a fun, friendly game of social doubles paired with equal level players. We also offer Champs and Challengers – Doubles games like King of the Court, Live Ball and more.  Sign up at the front desk or email Jerry.Krawchuk@SarasotaFl.gov to register.

Junior Tennis

We offer opportunities for kids of all ages to learn and improve their tennis skills and game.   We have beginner programs for ages 5-12 as well as programs for middle and high school players.  Programs are run by our tennis pros on a weekly basis. Contact us for more information.

Arranged Play

Our staff will help you get involved at Payne Park Tennis by arranging play with other equal level players.  Contact our front desk or email ParksandRec@SarasotaFL.gov for help with arranged play.

In-house Leagues and Competitive Play

Throughout the year we offer our own in-house leagues and tournaments for all skill levels with different formats.  Payne Park Tennis Center is also home to many USTA, Suncoast, Ultimate and other locally run leagues.  

Triples Tennis

Cardio and social tennis at it’s best.  Drop in format Fridays at 5:30pm (except the 2nd Friday of each month) and Sundays at 9:00am for fun, fast moving play.  Triples tennis is played with 3 people on a side using a decompressed ball.
