Summer Camp Registration Information

We will start online registration for all camps at 6 am on March 30th.  We will not be doing in person registration, instead phone registration will start at 7 am on March 30th (941) 263-6732.

Arlington Park Summer Day Camp:

  • A non-refundable fee of $25 per session is due at time of registration. For example, if you register for all 8 sessions for the Summer Day Camp, $200 is due the time of registration and is non-refundable.
  • The remaining session fee(s) is due the Wednesday before the camp session starts.
  • Online & over the phone registration, available until full.

Experience a summer packed full of adventure, crafts, games, field trips, swimming, nature and educational activities and so much more. Each session a new theme will be discovered. Campers will need to bring a water bottle, swimsuit, towel and sunscreen each day to camp. Breakfast, lunch & snacks
will be provided. Limited availability for 50 campers.

Bayfront Community Center Saltwater Fishing Camp:

  • A non-refundable fee of $25 per session is due at time of registration.
  • The remaining session fee(s) is due the Wednesday before the camp session starts.

The Saltwater Fish Camp is geared for beginner anglers or those who wish to brush up on some basic skills. Campers will learn about rods and reels, knot tying, different types of tackle and casting. Other knowledge gained will include fish biology, fisheries conservation and how to follow current regulations. Campers will be able to fish each day of the program.

Arlington Park EcoAdventures Camp:

  • This 2-week Camp requires a $300 non-refundable payment for each session, due in full, at the time of registration.
  • Online & over the phone registration, available until full.

This is one of those camps your child will talk about for years! Ecoadventures Camp is a unique opportunity for youth to be exposed to outdoor adventure activities and challenges in a fun, safe, and healthy environment. They will have fun participating in kayaking, fishing, hiking, archery, orienteering, zip lining and will learn about environmental stewardship. Each session will offer campers opportunities to learn life-long leisure skills and promote the positive use of free time. Our program will provide outdoor experiences that will help youth to gain self-confidence, responsibility, self-awareness, problem-solving and decision-making skills. Campers will take field trips throughout Sarasota & Manatee Counties. Pre-registration is required.

C.I.T. Program - Counselor In Training at Arlington Park

  • No deposit due for registration.
  • Please note there is an interview process for each counselor.
  • Only available for phone registration, available until full.

The C.I.T program is a four-week volunteer experience for high school students. This is a terrific opportunity for students to gain valuable work experience, while enhancing their resumes, accumulating volunteer/service-learning hours, and having a great time! Components of the Counselor-In-Training program include daily interaction with youth and staff in our summer camp programs, hands-on experience working with children, and interactive training sessions. C.I.T’s will assist and lead arts, crafts, sports activities, games, special events, and more! C.I.T training sessions will explore activity planning and career opportunities. This experience will help students learn skills such as time management, public speaking, organization, leadership, communication and problem solving. This program also prepares teens for a future career in recreation, childcare, or other fields.

Process: Students are required to submit a completed application by May 1. Applicants are required to go through an interview process and a mandatory orientation. A very limited number of C.I.T opportunities are available. Applicants will be interviewed in order of calls received. The program fee is due once the applicant is accepted.
